Sony Green & Grey.
These posters came from a collection of pictures that I took on my Sony camera during a hike in the Peak District and the aim was to create posters which highlight the brands identifiable features
[1] The treescape shows their ability to capture such vibrant colours with strong depth perception. The conceptual simplicity to the idea of a composition that is just trees is actually combatted with the realism that it is much more complex and detailed. To make such a picture so captivating, the quality of image has to be so high, the distinction between the many shades of green allows the viewer to see the rigidity in layers showing the depth of the trees. This view is highlighted with the addition of the refreshing solid white boarder of information reminding them of what actual simplicity is.
[2] While this image also showcases Sony's ability to capture depth in tones and colours it mainly showcases the smooth and natural transition between areas of focus and movement. While the blades of the windmill were spinning during this shot the placed focus area being on the center of the turbine allowed for creative choice, using the finely adaptable shutter speed to manage the amount of blur in the blades. I chose to have the blur to show the movement of the machine, which signifies Sony's slogan 'Be Moved'.
